MEMBERSHIP
- 3,200 youth join the club every year
- Members range in age from 6-18
- Membership fee is only $25 for the academic year, $50 for the summer
FACILITIES
We operate seven sites, 3 clubhouses and 4 school based sites:
- Our East Palo Alto Club serves the town of East Palo Alto
- Our Menlo Park Club serves the Belle Haven neighborhood of Menlo Park
- Our Redwood City Club serves the North Fair Oaks neighborhood of Redwood City
- Our Center for a New Generation (CNG) Program is located at three schools in the Ravenswood City School District and one school in the Redwood City Elementary School Distric:
- Belle Haven Community School in eastern Menlo Park
- James Flood Magnet School in eastern Menlo Park
- Edison McNair Academy in East Palo Alto
- Hoover Community School in Redwood City
PROGRAMS
We offer a variety of programs at our clubs:
Our Center for a New Generation offers after-school programs on school grounds
STAFF
- Approximately 40 full time and 60 part time paid youth development professionals
- More than 600 volunteers from our local communities
FINANCE
- BGCP is a not-for-profit organization
- We operate on an annual budget of approximately $4.7 million
