Donate Stock:
Often, the most mutually beneficial way to support the Clubs is by contributing appreciated securities. The Club also accepts gifts of real estate and other property. For more information - please call Chris Canter at 650-646-6128 or to transfer appreciated stock/securities, please print and complete the Stock Transfer Form* and fax to your broker as well as to Chris Canter at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula. Chris' fax number is 650-322-9042.
Donate Your Car:
Avoid the hassle of selling your old car and get a tax-deduction. the Clubs will arrange for the pick up of your vehicle or vessel - running or not in most cases - sell it and use 100% of the proceeds to support our programs.
Fund a Scholarship:
It costs us $1,600 to provide a full year of safety and support to one child. Because the majority of families that we serve are low-income, they only pay about $100 of this cost. The rest is made possible by gifts and grants. Your support of the ACCESS (All Children Can Engage in Services Sponsorship) Fund can provide a full scholarship for one or more young people. A contribution of any amount helps bridge the gap between member families pay and the actual cost of providing the range of programs and services available for each young person.
Matching Gifts:
Many companies will match the contributions that you make to an organization. If you make a donation, please let us know if your company has a matching gifts program. If you are not sure, contact your company and/or organization's Human Resources or Community Affairs office.
Volunteer:
Give the gift of time by volunteering. There are a variety of opportunities including one-time and on-going. For more information call our Volunteer Manager, Leila Ganz, at 650-646-6131. You can also read about the volunteer program and download an appplication. Click Here.
Host a House Party:
Surprisingly, many people in the community are not familiar with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula or are aware of all that the Clubs have to offer today. A fun way for people to help us raise awareness is to host a house party at their home and invite friends to learn about the Clubs.
Leave a Legacy:
All of us have the power to make a difference. One way is to include the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula in your will and/or estate plans. Those including the Clubs in their will / estate plan will become members of our organization's Legacy League. You can Leave a Legacy to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula in a variety of ways, including the following:
• Bequest
• Charitable Remainder Trust
• Charitable Lead Trust
• Life Insurance
• Retirement Plan Assets
Corporate Partner:
The Clubs welcome support from companies large and small. By becoming a Corporate Partner your company would receive significant recognition throughout the year.
Thank You!
For more information on these and other opportunities, please call the Clubs at (650) 646-6140.
Thank you for your contribution to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula. Community support makes it possible for the Clubs to fulfill our mission of guiding and inspiring the young people of our community to develop the attitudes and life skills they need to achieve their potential.
