PLANNED GIVING
Thank you for considering a Planned Gift to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula. The Club launched its Planned Giving program last year in conjunction with its 50th Anniversary. The purpose of the Club's Planned Giving program is largely to build the Club's Endowment, though Planned Gifts can also be used to meet current needs.
The most common types of planned gifts are made through beneficiary designations (on life insurance policies and/or retirement accounts), charitable bequests, gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and charitable lead trusts – any of which can provide donors significant tax benefits and/or enhanced income. Donors Include the Club in their estate plans either through a bequest or other gift vehicle will be recognized - if they so chose – as a member of the Club's "Legacy League" . Legacy League members will be acknowledged on an ongoing basis in the Club's Annual Report, on the Club's website and invited to an annual reception.

The first 50 donors who notify us in writing that they have included the Club in their estate plans, either through a bequest or other gift vehicle, will be recognized (if they so chose) as a Charter member of the Club's “Legacy League” and also as a Future Founder on a permanent plaque which will be displayed at the Club.
