MyLife is a 9th grade transition program onsite at Menlo-Atherton High School through the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula. The MyLife program serves 9th grade students from East Palo Alto, Menlo Park and Redwood City, supporting them through their transition to high school. Each student is assigned a case worker who they meet with one-on-one bi-weekly to set goals, discuss academics, celebrate successes, get connected to resources, and much more! Along with one-on-one meetings, students attend an after school academic support center which helps them thrive academically and socially, feel confident about their goals for the future, establish/maintain strong relationships with their peers and mentors, and engage in daily enrichment classes. All active MyLife students are encouraged to attend any of the BGCP clubhouses after the program ends every day at no cost. MyLife is a great opportunity for students to take advantage of the services and supports that both Menlo-Atherton High School and The Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula provide.
