College was never an option for me…teachers were always telling my parents I was performing below grade level….I reached high school and met Future Grads which provided me with the resources I needed....I was able to improve my grades and my confidence came back. The fact I was able to go from a student who was performing below grade level to a student taking college level courses in high school as well as IB and AP classes really speaks volumes how much help Future Grads helped me.

Invest in a future Grad

Our innovative Future Grads model is highly effective and efficient. “Crews” of students support each other on their paths to post-secondary success, empowering students to take initiative, solve problems, access resources, and develop leadership. Leveraging “Crews” as well as volunteer Future Grads coaches has enabled BGCP to drive costs down to just $2,000 to serve one Future Grads student for one full year—less than half the cost of alternative programs.

Denise and Tony Lautmann

In 2015, Tony and Denise Lautmann approached BGCP with an idea--to pilot a program that would help students to and through college in an effective and efficient way. Since then, Tony and Denise have played key roles in recruiting Future Grad coaches and raising funds to support entire Future Grad classes for their 8-year educational trajectories.

"Their passion for the students and the program is felt by all, and we are so deeply appreciative of tgheir partnership," says Peter Fortenbaugh, BGCP Chief Executive Officer.
